Croatia, Brač – good energy for everyone! This island is completely different from Hvar, the city of broken glas – it´s all about the energy in the air. This Island is for everybody, old people, young people, families and athletes!
The town’s major attraction is Zlatni Rat
Gathered around a compact marina, the old town of Bol on the island of Brač next to Hvar, is an attractive place made up of small stone houses and winding streets dotted with pink and purple geraniums. While short on actual sights, many of the buildings are marked with interpretative panels explaining their cultural and historical significance, according to Lonely Planet.
The town’s major attraction is Zlatni Rat, the seductive pebbly beach that ‘leaks’ into the Adriatic and draws crowds of swimmers and windsurfers in summer. A long coastal promenade, lined with pine trees and gardens, connects the beach with the old town. Bol is a buzzing place in summer – one of Croatia’s favourites – and perennially packed with tourists.
Good energy!
Compare to Hvar where the youngsters are occupying the town after ten o´clock in the evening, Bol has a much healthier energy. This city and the island is for everybody, old people, young people, families and athletes as this island is really well-suited for all types of sporty activities, both on land and at sea. And we simply loved it!
To be honest – I love everything about Croatia, the uniq people – because they really are, the food and wine, the landscape and the beautiful ocean!
Fire on the beach
There was a fire right next to the beach that was fighted off by very experienced firemen and waterplanes, and it was amazing to see the presidency of the aircraft – the firemen became of course our heroes this day.
Croatia – a wonderful country!
Here you can read about Hvar next to the island Brač, and about the wonderful waterpark KRKA right here. And here you can read about Trogir, Zadar and Dubrovnik.
