So, we continue our wonderful trip in Croatia, today it´s about Trogir. You will find Dubrovnic, Korcula, Hvar, Brac, KRKA right here. Trogir is a historic town and harbour on the Adriatic coast in Split-Dalmatia County, Croatia, situated on a small island between the Croatian mainland and the island of Čiovo. It lies 27 kilometres (17 miles) west of the city of Split.
Since 1997, the historic and charming centre of Trogir has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites for its Venetian architecture.
Brown Beach House Hotel & Spa
We stayed at Brown Beach House Hotel & Spa, a very new, first class and beautiful hotel with lovely atmosphere and skilled staff – so the first day, after driving from Split, we simply stayed for a while at the hotel, enjoying the good energy doing absolutely nothing but relaxing at the pool with a big grin on our faces, you know, just laying there, not doing anything other than laying there – which is quite unusual for my ex and me. We both usually have to much curiosity and energy for that kind of vacation, but at this hotel this was simply the right thing to do.
And I must admit, I also simply adored the inside of the hotel, the beautiful inventory, so functional and classy. I could easily stayed indoor for a day at this hotel, reading books and writing books which is my passion and my job. You will find out more about my books right here.
So, I think it is time to repeat myself, again – I love everything about Croatia, all the unique people – because they really are, and we have made really good friends there, the great food and all the lovely wine, not to mention the wonderful relaxing landscape with all it´s unique and powerful history, and of course – the beautiful, healing ocean!
So in our opinion, Trogir is definitely a city to visit. If you stay at Brown Beach House Hotel & Spa, then make sure to take the bike into the city in the afternoon. It is not far to walk, but it is much more fun to ride a bike, you will go faster and get some nice wind in your face, and believe me, if you are in Trogir or anywhere else in Croatia in summertime, you will need some wind in your face and in your hair. Just love to love it!
Here you can read about Hvar next to the island Brač, and here you can read about Dubrovnik, Zadar and KRKA.
