In Marbella City Center, right in the heart of Old Town, surrounded by shops, restaurants, bars and 3 minutes away from the beach you will find this elegant, romantic and stylish property The Town House Hotel, which Mette and I simply felt in love with straight away! And the breakfast… well, make it one hour at least, and simply enjoy it!
The property features an Old School Luxury Collection of 10 stylish rooms, a spectacular wine lounge with open day bar, an elegant residents-only roof top garden and a very live and inviting exterior terrace in Plaza Tetuan. Each room has its unique decor with chic furniture and marble flooring. All rooms offer high quality bed linen and towels, tea and coffee facilities and the luxurious body & beauty toiletry London brand Molton Brown.
This is something uniq, and please do remember – a good hotel gives you more than just a bed – it gives you an unforgettable experience.
If Marbella is on your travel list, then spend most of your time and money in the Old Town. The Lonely Planet explains this very well: The Costa del Sol’s bastion of bling is, like most towns along this stretch of coast, a two-sided coin. Standing centre stage in the tourist showroom is the ‘Golden Mile’, a conspicuously extravagant collection of star-studded clubs, shiny restaurants and expensive hotels stretching as far as Puerto Banús, the flashiest marina on the coast, where black-tinted Mercs slide along a quay populated by luxury yachts.
This about the Golden Mile is so true, and to be honest, this is the reason why this “mile” is not very interesting in my opinion. But of course, by all means, go and have a look at the Golden Mile. But all I heard from the people I talked to, both visitors and foreigners living there, was the following; – whores, parties, drinks, rolex, showing off both money and stupidity, whores, crime, a lot of alcohol, drugs and whores. So, not much to brag about, in my opinion.
